When the company founders started ITS Logistics, they vowed to create a company that was built on strong family values—respect, integrity and compassion—and a true work-life balance. They committed to work hard for each other, their employees, their clients and their community, building relationships that would grow and bring success for everyone involved. We at ITS Logistics are proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and look forward to our future success together.

1999

ITS Logistics was founded by CEO Jeff Lynch, COO Darryl Bader and CFO Dan Allen. They signed the first dedicated agreement with CLIF Bar and started with a 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse and two trucks—and became a $1 million company in the first full year.

2002

The company expanded to dedicated fleet services and added an additional 27,000 sq. ft. of warehousing space. ITS also signed its first contracts with Starbucks and Amazon and grew to 12 trucks and more than 40 employees.

2005

ITS moved its corporate office and primary warehouse into a 172,000 sq. ft. space in Sparks, Nevada. The company also added pool distribution service, dedicated one-way service and grew to more than 50 trucks.

2011

Opened terminal and office locations in Phoenix, Seattle and Los Angeles.

2012

Seeing more opportunity, ITS expanded its asset-lite division, ITS National, into a nationwide multi-modal freight brokerage division.

2015

ITS Logistics partners with McNally Capital and Coughlin Capital to allow for accelerated growth.

2016

ITS consolidates its corporate offices, warehousing and transportation into a new 630,000 sq. ft. campus. INC expands significantly in downtown Reno. The company is recognized for its success with the Reno Gazette-Journal Large Business of the Year Award, the Chamber Large Business of the Year Award and the EDAWN Corporate Citizen Award.

2018

DS grows to more than 1,000,000 sq. ft. and increases ecommerce and omnichannel distribution capabilities, and wins the NCET Logistics Company of the Year Award. INC expands to 100+ employees and is named to Transport Topics TOP 50 Freight Brokerage list. The ITS Fleet is recognized as one of Transport Topics TOP 50 Dedicated Contract Carriers.

2019

INC doubles office space, invests heavily in technology, grows to more than 140 employees and moves to #44 on Transport Topics Top 50 Freight Brokerage list. DFS expands to new facility in Southern California with full fleet operations, supporting customers across Nevada, California, Arizona, Oregon and Washington.

2021

ITS climbs to 35th in North America in non-asset transportation. Expansion into Whitestown, IN enables ITS to reach 75% of US and Canadian populations in one-and-a-half days, and 90% of the US in just two days. The new facility includes two warehouses totaling nearly 600,000 square feet of distribution space. The expansion also adds regional trucking operations including dedicated contract services, drayage, line haul, expedited, storage and drop trailers, rapid replenishment fulfillment and transportation, and special projects/warehouse moves.

2022

Transport Topics Names ITS Logistics as #23 Freight Brokerage Firm, the #11 Drayage and Intermodal Provider, and the #60 overall 3PL in North America. ITS partners with The University of Nevada, Reno College of Business to create the Supply Chain & Transportation Management Program.

2023

ITS builds a new 1,100,000 sq. ft. facility in the heart of Texas, offering a variety of distribution and fulfillment services including omnichannel fulfillment, ecommerce fulfillment, retail distribution, kitting, and assembly, b2b ecommerce, and complete supply chain management—along with unparalleled industry expertise and customer service. With this expansion, ITS is now able to reach 100% of the US and Canadian populations within 3 days. Transport Topics Names ITS Logistics as the #21 asset-lite transportation provider, #50 asset-based dedicated fleet, #56 overall 3PL, and #62 warehousing provider in North America.
