Self Discipline + Structure

Being disciplined and detail-oriented is a must to ensure your success in the logistics industry.

As a truck driver, you are responsible for completing things like pre and post-trip inspections, chaining, loading and unloading deliveries, and problem-solving out on the road.

Dependability + Responsibility

Staying on time and on task in ever-changing conditions.

Driving a truck is not something that can be micromanaged, so it’s important that you are dependable and exercise time management skills.

Mental Endurance

Staying mentally sharp and focused.

When driving long-haul or team runs, you can be on the road for days at a time, and you need the skills to stay alert, which you undoubtedly refined and honed during your time in the military.

Situational Awareness

Extremely important in the military and in your career as a truck driver.

When driving a semi-truck and trailer that can weigh up to 80,000 pounds, being aware of your surroundings at all times is key to keeping yourself and those around you safe.
