Dockworkers on Canada’s west coast could begin industrial action from June 24.
A strike at Canada’s west coast ports at the end of the month raises the risk posed by continuing and potentially escalating disruptions on the US west coast, as peak season begins in North America.
DOCKWORKERS at Canada’s west coast ports have voted in favour of striking later this month, adding furtherpressure to North American supply chains as peak season commences.
The news comes amid widespread labour disruption at US west coast ports and the impact of Panama Canal draught restrictions.
