The customer was looking for increased time to market in response to highly variable demand, space and resource flexibility and best in class service to manage their omni-channel distribution model. ITS Logistics provided leading edge data integration and an exception based management program.
Direct to Consumer Response
ITS Logistics designed a creative solution to provide rapid direct to consumer order fulfillment. The picking process was expedited and enhanced by RF technology allowing for retrieval of multiple orders, which dramatically reduced the customer’s labor requirement. The delivery was expedited by presorting the orders by zip codes and building loads directly to the destination sorting facilities for final delivery.
Retail Distribution
ITS Logistics managed retail driven deliveries via retail approved carriers, provided support on all retailers’ logistics requirements, direct to store, and to transit facilities. The retailers included: Walmart, Target, Sports Authority, Sears, Kmart, and more.
Value Added Service
Additionally, ITS Logistics provided quality inspection services, replacement of parts, kitting and assembly, and special labeling.
