On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, Northern Nevada Business View revealed and honored its Top-20 Sierra Nevada Powerful Women. The winners were chosen from the Top-40 Powerful Women, who were announced in April 2019, and whittled down from 132 original nominees.

We are very proud that Molly Campau, Director of Recruiting & Training at ITS National, was nominated as one of the Top-40 Sierra Nevada Powerful Women, and fortunate to have her on our team. Read her nomination below:

Molly Campau is not only an amazing person and mentor, but has had an absolutely profound impact at her company and in the local community.

Molly is the Training and Recruiting Manager at ITS National, the brokerage division of ITS Logistics. In 2018 under Molly’s leadership, ITS National added more than 50 associates, almost doubling the size of the office. This helped propel ITS into the national spotlight as one of the TOP 50 Freight Brokerage Firms in the US—out of more than 18,000!

What truly separates Molly is her genuine concern for her teammates, and her passion to inspire them to be the best versions of themselves. She has even more aspiring goals for 2019, as well as leading the division’s community involvement, charitable giving, and employee wellness initiatives.

Molly also volunteers for the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada, and as a mentor at the UNR College of Business for women entering the professional workplace. With her strategic partnership with the university she also assists many UNR graduates in their transition into a professional career.

“Power is not given. Power is achieved through hard work and hard times. It is influencing rather than directing. It cannot be taken away by anyone else, but it can be given away in moments of insecurity. Power is displaying character and trustworthiness through adversity. Power is earned.”
