Director of Sales Operations
Job Description
Overview
The Director of Sales Operations oversees the sales process from start to finish to achieve company-wide sales growth. This position is responsible for daily management of sales operations within ITS and will implement, maintain, improve and measure sales procedures, assisting leadership to make fact-based sales decisions.
Principle Accountabilities
- Daily management of sales operations within ITS
- Engineer a “lead to cash” process that enables ITS leadership to forecast revenue performance including revenue from new and existing customers.
- Create a clear and concise platform to manage sales performance that is visible and reportable.
- Improve communication and efficiencies across all sales verticals within the organization.
- Continually make recommendations for the ITS sales processes’ effectiveness, scalability, and automation whenever possible.
- Assess products and vendors that can aid the sales team in achieving their goals and give a ROI evaluation and assist in the decision-making process.
- Ensure RFP, RFI and contract processes are consistent and meet timing requirements.
- Work with leadership to produce effective QBR information that includes ITS performance matrix and value adds for the customer.
- Collaborate with production teams on new customer onboarding processes and work with leadership to ensure it is consistently followed.
- Works close with floor leadership, OTS leadership, marketing leadership on all initiatives and processes.
- Maintains and updates all SOP documentations that pertains to the sales division.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience
- Track record for building sales organizations in a fast paced, high results environment.

- Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively coach and influence others.
- Process oriented and disciplined.
- Excellent understanding of sales operations best practices with the ability to implement processes for sales professionals.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced Technology understanding and competency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation
Competitive base salary (DOE) plus a performance-based incentive plan. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefit plan with a matching 401k.
