Overview

As a rapidly expanding company, we recognize that our success lies in the growth and development of our people. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Talent Development and help us build a culture of continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities:

As the Vice President of Talent Development (VPTD) you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive talent development and training programs.

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and department heads to identify skill gaps, develop learning initiatives, and build a culture of continuous development and growth.
  • Focus will be on fostering employee engagement, enhancing performance, and driving organizational effectiveness through effective talent development strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent development and training strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to identify critical skill gaps and competency requirements across the organization.
  • Reinforce and evangelize ITS culture in all training.
  • Establish flawless onboarding and deployment of talent across segments and regions.
  • Develop exceptionally trained managers/leaders trained to manage their business and their people The ITS Way.
  • Deliver talent readiness strategies that foster talent for internal growth.
  • Develop ITS University that drives business performance.
  • Design and implement a variety of learning and development initiatives, including leadership development programs, technical training, onboarding programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Evaluate existing training programs, tools, and platforms and recommend enhancements or new solutions to ensure they remain effective and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of talent development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with external training providers, industry experts, and educational institutions to leverage external resources and stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in talent development.
  • Develop and oversee the training budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and tracking return on investment.
  • Implement a robust performance management process, including goal setting, performance feedback, and performance improvement plans.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of a learning culture within the organization, promoting employee engagement and self-directed learning opportunities.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness and impact of talent development initiatives, providing regular reporting and insights to key stakeholders.

Education/Experience Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15+ years of human resources experience, with at least 8 years of senior level leadership in talent development, training, or organizational development, with a focus on designing and implementing comprehensive learning initiatives
  • Minimum 5+ years of talent management and/or development experience within a fast/high growth company and/or within a management consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing talent development teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of talent development and training best practices, adult learning principles, and performance management methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of talent management strategies, competency frameworks, and succession planning.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Passion for talent development, learning, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
