Trade Show & Events Manager

Job Description

Overview

ITS Logistics is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and organized individual to join our dynamic marketing team as our first Trade Show & Events Manager. Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, the Trade Show & Events Manager will manage and coordinate our tradeshows and corporate events at a national level. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with project management and prioritization skills, managing multiple events simultaneously with great attention to detail and accuracy. Additionally, the Trade Show & Events Manager will support marketing initiatives by leveraging traditional and digital marketing best practices. This position will play a critical role in driving our marketing goals and expanding our trade show presence.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Manages the marketing, planning, coordination, and communication of trade show event operations
  • Partners with the marketing and sales teams to create a strategic roadmap of market segmentation, curriculum focus, internal participation, and operational execution
  • Establishes and maintains an annual calendar of trade shows and events, clearly communicating key dates, deadlines, and schedules to stakeholders
  • Partners with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop communication, promotion and customer development plans for each specific trade show
  • Creates event content, promotions, budget plans, performance ROI and impact analysis
  • Tracks metrics including leads, pipeline prospects, and customer engagement to measure effectiveness and ROI
  • Proactively searches and evaluates opportunities to sponsor conference sessions, co-market campaigns, and identify new trade shows that align with company goals
  • Works with associations to promote use of company-friendly speakers on official conference program
  • Establishes relationships with industry associations and events/trade shows teams
  • Manages and coordinates the logistics of the exhibit property including booth design and requirements, equipment, graphics, and accessories
  • Coordinates all travel arrangements for participating attendees, including travel, hotel, meals, entertainment, etc.
  • Performs other duties and assigned

Salary Range:$76,000.00 To 110,000.00 Annually

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Training/certification or equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 3-5 years sales experience of trade show and events planning experience
  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment, logistics industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • HubSpot experience preferred
  • Existing trade show plan template from previous experience preferred
  • Robust network of trade show relationships preferred
  • Willing to travel
