Overview
ITS is seeking a Human Resources Manager at our headquarters in Reno, NV. This position will provide tactical and strategic HR support for the Company’s three business verticals. In this role, you utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives and impact both short-term and long-term business goals.
Principle Accountabilities
- Support key initiatives that strengthen ITS Logistics’ strategy and core values.
- Partner closely with HRBPs and people managers on ER-related matters, including advising on employee discipline, underperformance, terminations, reasonable accommodations, complex leave scenarios, and other related matters.
- Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification.
- Assist in designing policy content and deliver training for employees, managers, and the HR team that ensure compliance with relevant legislative changes and guide ER best practices and help identify strategies to enhance employee relations capabilities.
- Manage all aspects of tier 1 and 2 ER cases, including implementation of investigation strategies and risk assessment in partnership with ER Leader and Employment Counsel and HRBPs; conduct interviews, prepare reports, and owning investigation outcomes and closeout; track and prepare status updates and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders; and advise on and oversee disciplinary and remediation actions.
- Ensure activities follow all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA).
- A wide variety of diverse HR responsibilities and projects as determined by the HR Leadership.

Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in human resources.
Additional requirements include:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Relations preferred.
- Broad understanding and experience with the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
- Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
- Proven ability to influence decision making.
- Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise.
- Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics.
- Possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners and leadership.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be a confident communicator with the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a high-performance environment with competing priorities. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School diploma: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR preferred.
