New General Manager - 04-24-2008
John P. Mack has recently joined ITS Logistics as General Manager. John will over see the day to day operations to this exciting and fast growing transportation and distribution company. Prior to joining ITS, John held the position of Regional Distribution Director for the Sherwin-Williams Companies western operations. John has over 20 years of logistics experience including 10 years with Wal-Mart Stores Inc as General Manager. John began his logistics career in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with the Fleming Foods Companies.
Along with John, ITS is happy to anounce some new faces to our team!
Whitney Beavers is a 2002 Business Administration Graduate and has an extensive background in the oil and gas, banking and construction industries. As Administration Assistant to the Transportation Manager, Whitney is very involved with the daily transportation activities. Whitney joined the ITS team in January, 2008.
A.J. Singh is one of many new additions in the transportation department. As a back-haul coordinator, A.J. works very closely with our dispatchers and over-the-road drivers. A.J. is also pursing his Business Degree at the University of Nevada Reno.
Roy Gumm, Dispatch Supervisor, was promoted from local driver to his current position in January of 2008. As an active member of our Safety Committee, he also helps to promote and maintain a safe working environment for our drivers and office employees alike. Roy has been employed with ITS Logistics since 2001 and has over 10 years of driving experience.
Mark Higgins, a Washoe resident for over 20 years, joins the ITS Logistics team as Transportation Support, with experience in both the warehousing and transportation industries. Mark enjoys working with locally owned businesses with ties to the community.
Nina Pepetone, another great addition to the Transportation team, joins ITS with a diverse background from accounting to surviving the crab season on the Oregon coast. An enthusiast for the great outdoors and new experiences keeps Nina fresh for the daily transportation demands.
Diana Coleman has stepped into the roll of Safety Administrator with ITS Logistics after an impressive 27 years with the Intel Corp. Diana’s many years of experience in various areas is a great asset in Diana’s current position.
Pam Francis has worked almost her entire life in the Trucking industry. As the newest addition to our Accounting Team, Pam’s trucking experience and knowledge has proven to be extremely beneficial. With Pam’s skill set and many talents, ITS is glad to have her on board.
Let us not forget the addition of 25 new drivers too!
